We’re planning some building work in the near future and would obviously like to try and match the existing bricks as closely as possible.
The house was built in 1994 (one off build) and we had some further work done in 2006, when there was no problem in getting the same bricks.
Since then, the original manufacturer (Baggeridge) has been taken over by Wienerberger, who are proving unhelpful to say the least (I suspect, as always, that it’s all about getting hold of the right person)
The original bricks are marked ‘Baggeridge H2‘ but someone has suggested that this is a batch reference, rather than the actual brick code.
Trying to search for Baggeridge H2 has not been successful.

Travis Perkins have a brick matching service, but the sample they came up with (Wienerberger sunset red multi brick) is a mile off and will look awful:
Is this the best I can expect does anyone have any suggestions for companies they have used in the past?
