Trying to locate supplier of Titanium welding wire

We require a certain type of welding wire to prevent blows and pores whilst welding very thin sheet.

An Italian welding company weld the same type of material and have no issues. They use a titanium wire as per the attached details and link below.

We can get it from Italy but would rather purchase in the UK. Anyone got any ideas? We have tried all our normal stockists.

That has Ti in it, but is not Titanium.

You don't say what the thin sheet material is. Could be a big help.

The attached data sheet says it's ER70s-2 (aka A15), plain old low carbon steel wire
The tiny amount of Ti in it is one of the deoxidising elements used nothing more. ER70s-6 (aka A18) or er70s-3 are the more usual suspects for MIG/MAG as the deoxidising elements used work 'better' with active shielding gases that contain CO2. Either of them will be easier to find in 0.8mm spools for MIG. A15 is the usual suspect with TIG as any excess Si can't be 'mopped up' by the shielding gas when it's pure argon

Thanks for your replies. I am a humble estimator and know little about welding. I am trying to help our Factory Manager and our welders source the correct wire material. I will pass your comments on to them tomorrow.

The profiles we use are for thermally broken steel windows.

For now; "Profiles made from 1.5mm cold formed hot dip galvanized steel connected with high density cast polyurethane isolator" & "profiles are coated with a special zinc-magnesium coating".

We do A15 ER70S-2 mig wire which is exactly what the wire you're currently using is. 5KG reels of 0.8mm are always knocking about and they're not too bad money from most suppliers.

1.5mm is not thin at all. Easily possible to do it with standard 0.8mm wire.

You mention it is galvanised. Have you tried grinding the galvanising off before welding it?

If its not that then I suspect user error.
