I think its always the best to offer cash when you walk into a trade orientated supplier,somethging about that in't it?

Not CEF..."best" discounts are for those with a credit account, even if your business.
Nah sorry Mrfuzzy they still rob you even if you spend 30grand a month with them! We gave up on them ages ago, they are last resort! Edmondson seem to be half the price of city without the trying round our way! I was employed by cef back in the early 90s and know exactly what they are like!

i get 99 pecent of my gear from electricbase its owned by buildbase.the prices are excelent the serviceand delivery is second to none a few odds a sods from city and edmondsons are a big joke there only interested in selling to the bigger companys

I've got a choice of Newey & Eyre or a couple of independents locally, sometimes find it's cheaper to order from TLC and pay the postage.

Yeah we have screwfix tool station denmans and city electrical within a mile....

This place is like a rubic cube. And it's made harder by my sons girlfriend getting promoted to assistant manager meaning more baby sitting time for me.

Once I get a few things sorted out I can just jump on the pc etc...lol
