I've had my Rehmann 200 for a while but not really touched it. I've had a bit of a play tonight but have been struggling
I had a play on some 1mm thick tube as i've been using it to make some stuff out of so i thought it would be good to get some welding practice on it.
I was using red toipped 1.6mm tungstens which i ground to a a blunted point. I started with the power right down and incremented it very slightly until i could see a puddle forming. It must have only been about 5amps or so on the control. Any higher and it would blow holes straight through the tube.
The main problem i found was that the tungstens just kept melting. i wasn't dipping them into the puddle but they kept forming large molten balls on the end and the arc would then go all over the shop
the only setting i really have is the power one and if its too low it won't form a puddle and when it's turned up so that it does the tungstem bobbles
Heres a few pics, any help/suggestions would be very welcome
