I paint complete cars, with additional pots sitting in the water ready to switch. Don't have any issues with pot life.
An hour of spraying one paint is a long time. Are you mixing enough for a number of coats and doing several coats including the flash time in your hour?
Generally, not just epoxy, I find if I mix enough for more than one coat I end up rushing the flash time and get a dogs dinner. Not having the paint for the next coat ready makes it easier to stop for a cup of tea and then mix the paint before applying the second coat. But I am not a pro.
Hi mate I'm having troubles your talking about but with HB! Was fine in winter but now it's hot having issues. Do you remember what you settled with for spraying HB? Cheers mateI've had a lot of parts to paint, so I mix up enough for less than an hour. I am talking about paint auto parts though, that's why they take time, brackets, links, joints etc. I leave a day between coats as thats what the Jotun epoxy says. The top coats allow two to be done in a warm day.
