Triumph T160 project, hi l m rebuilding a T160. Not sure if this is the correct site , anyway I’ve put new hepolite rings in on std bore. The new oil control ring is single piece with helical coil to support it. the old ring was traditional 3 piece. I’ve gapped it to spec. But the spring seems to exert so much force on the liners that it is difficult to turn, I’m concerned that this is not correct and don’t want to progress.
