sorry about the pictures earlier please the trike is made using a vw 1600 engine tublar frame and leading link front end i trying to come up with a nice design for the handle bars clutch and seat next any suggestions would be great

Is the tank just there temporary? It will give you about a 50 mile range with the engine you are using. I've seen similar done using Reliant engines and with the seating so far back from the steering the handlebars were long and laid back so the rider almost had to get off the seat to turn more than a few degrees. The length and rake angle looks out of proportion to my eye, just a personal thing probably, as if the front is too far from the seating position.

the tank is jus temporary i need to get one made up to suit i will an extra tank on it aswell the lenght of rake might be too much i prob will have to change that im going to make the controls next and seat and battery box im sure where to put that yet

Hi mate, dont want to upset you or anything cos it looks like you have spent a few hours and care doing this project. But., couple of my mates have trikes with VW engines in the back. One is a boom trike and the other is homemade. The homemade one was done very similar to this and once finished, was a nightmare to drive, as has been suggested before, th front wheel was always in the air, even with stabiliser wheels put on the rear, it was very undriveable. In the end, the chassis was all cut off and a centre piece of box 150 x 100 x 10 put in place to add more weight to the front. The thing still wheelies now, but with a bit more careful throttle control can still be ridden. Also, he used to have twin vented discs on the front for braking, suisidal, in the end, one was blanked off and the other was connected to the rear brake system with a bias installed.

lol it dont beat the one i saw at ruffoth autojumble . it had a small block chevvy engine in it wish i had took me camera with me it was imaculate and well built

Indeed. May I suggest some titanium sliders and a some petrol on the ground - it reduces the wheelie risk, I've been told.

Nice project by the way, hope the laws of physics don't ruin your design too much.

I would think about the strength of the triangular tube arrangement aft of the tank and in front of the rear frame assembly. It looks none too stiff to me, there will be a lot of twisting in this area, both up and down and side-to-side (rotationally) and I don't reckon there are enough transverse stiffeners. Be careful.
