Trigger contact ?

My Clarke 100e mk2 contact metal strip in the torch broke, it's the thin copper strip that goes to the trigger to make the contact, (what is that bit called ? ) it still working but it's letting out wire on its own at times or takes a sec to stop feeding, I'm after getting the part that broke, or an easy fix, I've looked at new torch and there £79

Any help please

You could probably get a Eurotorch conversion for less - worth considering.

Solder a strip of copper as a bridge to fix the broken bit. Scavenge what you need fom an old 3 pin plug, the fuse holder. Beat it thin with a hammer and cut with scissors/tinsnips.

Do you mean the strip that is the switch if so a NO tactile switch can be fitted

If you can find a suitable bit of spring steel (e.g. the spring out of an old tape measure) then you can form and file it to fit.

It's called contact spring item 34 in photo

Just make it out of a bit of spring steel. As I said earlier I used a section from the inner spring from an old tape measure.
