We all make mistakes. Ratchet strap round it and the tree and itl straighten out.

With the amount of damage the council causes when trying to fix things that seems relatively minor.

Lack of risk assessment there. I think if he had contacted the council they would of removed the light before he started work. Expensive now

It was incompetence and or gross negligence. He had already hit it multiple times with small branches before bending it with the big one. There were also a gang of 4 on the ground watching on.

I hate seeing trees cut down.
They have been cutting loads of ash trees down by me and yet many are showing signs of recovery.
Why was that one being cut down? Was it an ash tree?

Damage aside that`s a pretty poor show, no TM or footpath management in place for a roadside dismantle and it looks like a cutnchuck job.
