Got myself a new R-Tech MTS255S
Had it a few weeks but not done anything with it - been sorting the electrics out first.
It requires a 32A supply, so had to look into options.
This 32A stuff is big !
Since my area in the unit is beside the Distribution box, I could get away with non armoured flex. So got 5m of 6.0mm flex, using about 60cm from the box to a new interlock switch. The rest I'll use as an extension cable. Also bought a 32A breaker for the box.
Just to give people an idea of costs (at time of writing):
MCB 32A Breaker £1.89
5m H07RN-F 3 Core 6.0mm Flex £8.15
GEWISS 2 x Male IP44 32A Blue Industrial Plugs £8.50
GEWISS 1 x Female IP44 32A Blue Industrial Plugs £6.00
GEWISS 32A 3Pin Interlock Switch £17.88
Total £42.42 plus the VAT
So switched power off, wired it all up and nothing went bang or flash!
Will need to build the obligatory new trolley, hopefully will get a play this weekend.
