tread plate

Hi I'm trying to source one piece of aluminum tread plate 2mm by 750mm x 250mm or bigger.

I can seem to find anyone who stocks it round here, Croydon or south west London any ideas?

As I only need one piece I was hoping to pick some up and avoid the carriage charge.

Its for a step into the garden from the house which needs its protection as it gets a lot of traffic across it.

Any help would be gratefully received.

oh right so i am the steel man now am i lol
dont have any 2mm. ive got a bit of 8mm but i think that would be a bit thick for what you have in mind.
i will have a look what i have got at work.
ive got some steel tread plate but its heavy guage again thats 6mm thick

Yes I think 8mm is a bit thick as I was hoping to bend it round the odd shaped step,but thanks for the offer!

I'm thinking i may not have thought this through, would i even be able to bend it as it has the patten on it.

Im driving passed guilford on the Friday before the bank hols so could pick some up Jay if that was OK?

I probably have some offcuts that big, should have both 2mm and 3mm.
A sheet is about 25 or 35 quid[2mm], the nearest to you for pickup would probably be edenbridge or purley, Baco have it in stock I can't remember
if Outlook do.
