Whatever the reason for it failing on a new well dried floor, to avoid more disappointment, I would not rush to do it again until I found someone to do it and give me a decent guarantee.

Used Coo-Var grey floor paint on mine, seems to be a very similar product, same result waste of time, all gone now apart from a few inches out from the walls!

Not worth the bother, it peels in fear at the sight of a trolley jack..

it says its water based thats why its probably crap any new paints that are enviromentaly friendly are crap. all the old stuff is better

i sealed my wokshop floor with fiberglass resin, had about 50ltrs that was getting a bit old and to frisky to really use.

so mixed it up about 15 ltrs of it, duffed a load of thinners in with it and tiped the bucket over and brushed it about. then rollerd / poured neat stuff over the top needs sand in tho else it's bloody slippy when oily.

i found no floor paint sticks to spilt brake fluid spilling paint thinners will bring them all up. dragging 50 ltr bottels about chips it as do engine cranes and trolly jacks

quick update on the TP floor paint:

good points: there are no areas that are lifting by themselves.

bad points: it does not take knidly to anything bare metal moving on it. maybe that's par for the course with all floor paints i don't know. i have moved a metal table a few times and it has left marks caused by abrasion ripping it back to bare concrete. i had hoped it would be tougher than that.

i can see myself re-doing it sometime.
