Transporting a small lathe

I collected my Myford in an Astra hatch. Two Denford CNC lathes fitted in the back of a Volvo estate. My current lathe was carried in a trailer. If necessary hire a small van and collect yourself ?

My 1st lathe was a Boxford CSB, took it apart and stuffed it in the back of an old Peugeot 306 hatchback and drove back from London to South Wales

My Bantam went in a HiAce with the crane as well adding half a ton of iron to the van made corners rather perilous, but it was great fun.

We split it, made it really easy.
