It would be nice if there was another winter freeze up down there and no one could get an emergency plumber.

Joking aside, it must be a great worry to many small businesses, garages, plumbers, plasterers, greengrocers etc. who need a Transit size van simply due to the bulk they require to move.
Smaller vans may be out of the question.
Likewise a brand new van, in many of the cases above, an older second hand van does the job, recouping the cost of a new van may well be out of the question.
I can see an increase in both the theft and cloning of number plates
