I used to buy and sell a few trailers and could never find any other wheels to fit the MINI stud PCD as modern vehicles use a different sizeI've got the metro rims on my trailer, and even getting tyres for them was a special order, so can imagine getting 10's might be fun... I tried to find a replacement rim in 13" with the same pcd but didn't get very far, so just ordered the 12's.
"Masses of 4" pcd rims available, built for cars and trailers, in just about any diameter you desire"
where? searched high and low the last time and found nothing? mind you I was looking for cars that were available, not custom made one offs. If you know where they can be had, I'm definitely interested for the next time, 13" would be ideal, masses of tyres available for that.
I have mini 13 inch wheels on my trailer it gets well loaded and tires get a bit warm@60mphsmaller ones just wont cut it
These are fine for light weight trailers but are only rated for 355 KG so 710KG minus the trailer weight and you could easily over load it, its all down to what you are going to do with it.10" trailer tyres are not expensive, you can get a wheel and tyre for £42. I bought some for my trailer and they are zero offset which was actually better for my application. Mini were 4" PCD and later Metro and others were 100mm PCD.
when u carry a Harrison lathe in a 6x4 trailer @ 75 mph err I mean 60mph for 50 miles it makes a diffrenceProper 10" trailer tyres are rated to 88mph but the limit in UK is 60mph anyway. If your trailer is that heavy it's overheating the tyres I'd take a bit out and make two trips. Mine's made a few long trips with 10" tyres and never had any problem.
