There was a metric rim option on the metro/maestro/montego... They also had a weird double bead affair going on so were a pain to fit.
I'd have to Google what it was
I had a montego and the clutch went on it, it was cheaper for me to get another car than replace the clutch - but a guy who worked in kwik fit wanted to buy it off me, so he got it. He spent a few hundred buying brand new oem metric rims (metric is the future, they'll all be using them soon...) and then a few weeks later the scrap tyre storage area where he kept the car caught fire and took the car with it.
Probably the best thing to happen to metric rims.
saved myself a packet years ago had metric wheels on my maestro tyre at the time was £60 ish pound
looking through trade-it bloke was braking a car from his house as the engine had gone duff he had the standard 14 inch i think form memory
for the sum of £100 for the set of 5 ended up paying £40 and he had my wheels as he would not sell them untill he got rid of the car so we had a swap 3 good tyres and 2 only a few months old 5 total for my old carp 2 bold 2 running but just
