I've recently acquired a trailer; a decent twin axle one rather than the modified truck that I've used previously, that was only really suitable for off road.
It strikes me that it might be seen as desireable by some of the n'er do well members of our society and I've been trying to give some thought as to the best way of securing it - both when in use and when parked up.
There is a thread on trailer security started by Mart in March 2008 but it seems as though it never got finished. There are references to arm locks (not the wrestling variety) but no explanation or pics. Accepting that we're now two years on, and that often the best security devices are home made so that the bad guys don't know what they're dealing with, has anyone got any suggestions as to the best way of keeping a trailer safe without invoking Fort Knox type security?
