Thanks, the video is just what I was after, will have a watch later. Still cheap on Passiontec too, maybe you are paying for the Festool name, or a few features they hold a patent on?
Why though? Apart from obviously less wear on your own tools
ha ha well not sure I think it was lighter, newer saw so the spring up part worked better mine needs lube or a new spring it is stiff. the tracks are very similar maybe even interchangable I think. my blade was also old and past its best his was new my splinter guard was well worn i need a new one his was new so it was probably a unfair comparison! oh and his had the dust extrctor attached nice addition!
