Hey guys, I have used the tutorials on this forum to learn how to MIG weld after being disappointed with the results of people I paid to do work for me, and although I still class myself as a rookie, I'm getting more confident in tackling bigger jobs and I think I can produce some half decent work. I am however always happy to take any advice and criticism. As long as I can learn from it!
My current project is to repair the damage I did to my rally car at Brands Hatch last year.
So, basically the mechanical damage all got fixed within a couple of weeks ready for the next rounds of the championship, but the bodywork had to wait till the season finished. Here is what it looked like just after it happened....
And so the project begins, Front wing and Door are easy bolt on fixes, but the rear quarter was badly damaged and though could possibly have been fixed... I know it had previously been 'repaired' so I wanted to just replace it.
