I've been asked to look at a couple of small rust spots on an old Toyota Landcruiser. It is a LWB 1981 Y reg, 4l diesel 60K from new and almost pristine, has been well looked after and always garaged until a few months ago. It has a couple of patches starting to bubble out on the rear outer wheelarch and one on the B post door pillar.
Has anyone worked on these - are they baking foil or made of more substancial material? replacement panels seem none existant. Any advice before I commit myself?
Thanks!
