looking at buying a year 2000, Toyota forklift,
Diesel, 2.5ton, 4.5m lift, twin front wheels....(that's 4 inflatable tyres), not bothered about the tyre side of things as the extra wide track will be helpful....the ground on the new place is hard based gravel...(the place is a desert)......
anyone out there know of any major problems associated with this truck.....
it's got service records and has done 9,000hrs......
obviousley I'll check for oil and water leaks.......

parts availability is the main thing . can you get even simple things when it goes wrong . i was warned about it when i got my forks so i went for a linde.

Check the chains arent worn.
They are a pretty penny to replace.
