I used raptor bed liner but that is a 2KBed liner?
Just got some tough ox bed liner for a subframe. Havent used it yet (too cold to spray) but it got recommended to me as being a durable finish.
Think it settles as a textured finish.
although I’m tempted to look at that CAMO for what I do.
Thanks, might get a little pot to try with the airless sprayerProfessional CAMO Military Vehicle Camouflage NATO Paint - SIZES & COLOURS | eBay

I had some rattle can stuff that I acquired from work years ago called “hard hat”. I used it for the inside top cover of my drill, it’s a nice Matt finish and hard wearing
The hard hat brand is my second choice as the shop here stocks it. Massive range of RAL numbers. It’s not bad paint to be honest. Thanks, might get a little pot to try with the airless sprayer

Was it rustoleum brand? Looks interesting and bonus of being aerosol

Neither have I. I had overlooked it until I posed the question on a cnc plasma group and a few guys said they swear by it. I make outdoor garden bits, amongst other things, and it seems to hold up fine. It's just an Amazon tacklife cheapy, just to see if I use it enough to invest in something proper...it's not a bad unit to be honest, my only gripe is the temperature of the air coming out the too...too hot.
You rate the simonez then? I've not had great experience with anything from simonez to be honest..

Had some issues where masking tape was left on for about 6 weeks when stuff got delayed in the mail, post b-word, going abroad but that’s a first. It says you can use it no primer if you have clean metal which is well keyed but I prime it. It’s fussy about primers, wrong one and you get blistering.
I was using tygris grey acrylic. It’s good but if it’s not 100% dry you get bubbles. I found better stuff a month or so back. Give me a minute and I’ll nip out and take a pic as I can’t remember what it is calledGoing to order a couple of cans to try then.
Which primer do you use for it then? I tend to use upol acid 8
