Yeah a replacement on evil.bay is £30 and 4 replacement caps £8.

have you got a capactor tester worth taking them out and a test only takes 8 quid but that 3rd way to another board

If you are not experienced in this sort of work, go for the complete board as it will likely be cheaper in the long run.

as above swaping a few capactors is easy stuff and could be the problem but if its not that and ends up trics or other components might get a bit more indepth

if you do go the whole board way cheak every number detail on your board and of that with the replacment board before buying as if not dead the same poss it wont work

No I don't have a cap tester. I'm going in blind with the 3 swollen caps i can see bu eye and just replace them. I will take note on installing them the correct way round .

If you look on the board some times they are marked positive if not I always mark it with a pen before removing as if they blow can give you a fright and on bigger ones new trousers time

So 4 caps that were swollen I replaced and as you can see a good result. Saved from landfill for now
