hi i got a iveco daily 59/12 bus with a snapped torsion bar does anybody know where i could get a knew one, tried iveco and would need to take out a mortgage to get one from them

In the absence of a company recommendation have you tried any spring manufacturers? Googling 'UK vehicle spring manufacturers' will get a bunch of leads, many of 'em listing vintage, agricultural stuff and bespoke stuff. I would mention the name of a place that's fairly well known in old car circles but i can't for the life of me remember it.
A pic or description of the set up might help... are we talking a sort of overgrown version of the back of a beetle (straight round bar of spring steel with splined ends) or something different?

Must be a truck and van breakers around? Last time I needed a gearbox for a Rover van, I looked in Exchange & Mart. Two phone calls later I had one.
Presumably they would be on ebay now.
