Hello All,
I'm new to Mig Welding and this forum. It seems like fun and I hope to get better at it. So far my knowledge of Mig welding is from watching a few videos on Youtube. Pulling pushing beads etc and no real practical experience.
Please throw some tips and bits of advice if you have a moment.
I just picked up a Campbell Hausfeld MIg-Flux 80 yesterday.
Seems to be a late model, but should be good to learn on.
Regarding actually welding, I was under the impression it only strikes an arc when you pull the trigger... Yesterday my machine seems to weld once the WORK clamp / Work Piece, and the flux wire got close...
Currently set up for Flux - Perhaps if it were setup for MIG it would be different?
Please Advise,
Thanks!
