On a serious note, lighting issues are fresh in my head as ive been looking at a situation where a woman died due to inadequate lighting.

im pretty spot on when it comes to positioning lights in offices staircases and pubic spaces and the amount of light. the meter just confirms it after fitting i have replaced the lights in a school i work at with a lot of 600 x 600 led pannel lights . i did the spacing of them . there less lights than what were fitted and now a lot brighter everyones happy with them

This was in a very posh private school. Brand new refurbishment, everything was good and above board. The we started asking questions

Ive about six Peli 3315 lights , one in each recovery jacket along with a knife and a whistle , and one in each car .
They are very tough , waterproof and run on standard AA batteries that you can get any where , thats one of the things I always look at when buying a working light , a great beam out to 35m fairly tight though so not a flood light but a corona that gives a good enough spread to change a wheel by or crawl under a lorry and get a look at whats going on but they also come with Peli warranty , you break it and they fix it , I have a few more of their products too , recently I had one of their dive lights fail it was a switch problem , and I dropped them an email , I expected the usual things , have you got proof of purchase are you the original owner etc etc , but nope , they gave ma an address and I posted them the duff light ,, they sent me an e mail and said they found the problem and it was fixed and they would return it , which they did . Peli lite are not cheap , the 3315 are about forty quid , but the fact they stand by their warranty is great.

Ive got a few of these....hang them up wherever I might need one....some inside, some outside...one broke but I think I dropped it

The small sprung tool clips are handy for holding these on a door jamb, then in the complete dark they're easy to find.
