torch burnout questions

well it melted the gas line off the fitting, i went to let go of the trigger and nothingg happened, it just carried on weldingand pretty mch everything in side it hhad turned to melted plastic only my hands didnt feel it cause i had my tig gloves on then some thick ones over the top

Definitely sounds like there was no water going through it, have you had time to check it yet to see if the pump is pumping coolant and if the tank is full?

yeah i filed the tank up with about a gallon of tap water before i started.
