Be careful what your signing for chaps anything with the words "tighter regulations" normally means giving up some of your freedoms away. Tighter regulations selling tools could have a massive impact on all of us who buy and sell tools. What they should be doing is bringing in much tougher sentencing for tool theft and handling stolen goods

There is a big difference in one man selling the odd used tool to another than the guy at the boot sale with a 20' stool full or used tools with various markings sanded out or painted over.
The biggest problem is the container fulls heading out to places like Africa.

Probably find that most stolen tools are often bought ourselves and reported on here as picked up a bargain

I was watching a series about the Met police in London, it seems the police are spending their time trying to stop one lot of idiots stabbing another lot, over imagined beefs and slights.

If it was the one about the NHC then one of my wifes, friends husband was on that, and the words you use pretty much word for word what he would say, Hates doing the NHC dammed when they do dammed when they don't, now sits in the control room.

But as for the petition Il sign it but having been robbed 3 times now in 5 years I feel its unlikely to do anything.
