tool spares

why do shops sell tools and then don't carry spares or sell them.
I bought this saw(see below) and I've already used it quite a few times.
but I can't find a replacement blade if I needed one.
I always like to have one spare incase.
89mm x 10mm bore but most that I can find is 85mm x 15mm bore.
and has a much lower max speed,mine has max speed of 5500rpm,ebay ones are mostly under and mainly for battery saw's.
any idea where I might be able to find one?
must admit I'm not much cop at searching malarkey.

The common bore I think would be 30mm if it's like the one I had, easiest solution is to get a reduction ring turned down, even possible to file a washer down to do the job with a bit of care

getting a reducing rings is not a problem its the blade.
the rated speed on these are lower than that of mine.
my speed is 5500 rpm but the highest one I've found is rated at 4000 rpm and a thinner blade.
I don't want to buy one and find it throws all the teeth outs etc or wobble or what ever because over speeding.they are all mainly for cordless.

Ah fair comment, I just bought anything and used it , perhaps had the right one's or perhaps it made no difference...I may have to start checking.

I've ask a simple question like any one else on here,we've all made mistake inc YOU.
of all the tools I've bought it has never been a problem.my recent purchase may not either,I can always get the blade re-sharpened or re-tooth.
it just that I like to have a spare blade just incase and @ £70 it is cheap.if I only get a couple of years use out of it so what.
I'll just buy another.

5000 rpm is very fast... are you sure that's what the saw turns at? Coz that's all you need to exceed

I have no idea what you are on about, there was no **** taking intended, that is not my style, I was admitting I was guilty of perhaps using the wrong speed blade on my own machines and would have to start checking.

The sad shaking head smiley was aimed at myself for doing what is obviously the wrong thing.

How you judge that as **** taking is beyond me.

I didn't read it as you taking the Mick, and to be honest i'm guilty of the same thing i've never thought to check the speed rating.

This mini plunge saw is so easy to use and has some very special features including a powerful 600watt motor driving a precision engineered gearbox developing a blade speed of 5,500rpm.
the only tool shop I know Alan is kings but I don't know if they are still trading.I very rarely shop in Darlo,I go through it on the bike but thats just about it.
yes I've tried looking into power tool but the plunge saw is not even listed!
its just typical of certain manufacturers to make tools that will not allow make of tools to fit.
evolution appears to be one of them ,powerplus(speed) I can get 85 easier enough max that I want to cut on this is 1/2".
thanks Dan/mrFuz but I only want one blade tcp.not sure about the other one.
maybe that'll do for spare.

its a bosch saw blade and it suppose to fit this model Worx Versacut 420.
the spare worx blade has 7000 rpm written on it. so it look like I'm sorted.if I'm wrong please say so...

Be aware the mounting holes are 15mm on those as opposed to 10mm on your own.
