Yeah their stuff does hold its value well. I only buy the fuel stuff also as the brushed stuff isn't the best.So what' that £140 body only kinda thing,
Sounds like a good investment to me,
Even if you didn't use it it would still be £100 ish in12 month's time 2nd hand.
I've committed to Milwaukee Cordless, Most expensive was probably my 3/8 12V impact, But it is an awesome bit of kit. I have a few cheapo grinders & would dread to think having cordless instead due to overall cost!A mix, Hitachi battery drill (chuck is rubbish), Erbauer battery impact driver (pretty decent). Then a few cheapo battery drills. 3 115mm Makita grinders (best in my opinion), bosch Circular saw, router and jigsaw, a Makita friction cutoff saw, Erbauer SDS drill and more stuff along that theme. I struggle to fork out for expensive battery stuff, way over priced in my opinion. For example my grinders are fantastic compact grinders for using around the car and the battery version is bigger, heavier, less powerful, limited worktime, I would want 3 or at least 2 if going battery and multiple times the price as the 240v version.
Anyone would think your name is Martin Lewis5% off at Rtech but finishes today: XMASLOYAL2017

Every little helps I suppose!

The titan one has two arms either side so I assume doesn't extend as much as the Evolution.

Might see if I can get a used one on eBay with the paddle switch
I've been looking at both of these. If you believe the Screwfix descriptions then the Titan extends to 2m and the evolution is 1.8m
However look at the pictures , my mind is telling me the Evolution with its tubular rails looks a lot sturdier.
Would be nice to see the 2 side by side though
Just got to sit & wait for deals to crop up!I was hoping Halfords would be doing the sockets in a tray deal again, were £22 last time now £44!
As well as no hassle over having to find 110 supply on sites that demand it (I don’t usually use my stuff on site as my job doesn’t demand it but I do occasionally and know it can be a pain at times). The main advantage of the cordless kit is you can just rock up on site and crack on.
No need to bring a genny, no need to unravel long leads and try to find power .
Most of the cordless stuff is more powerful than the corded these days anyway , so as long as you have plenty of battery's you should never have to stop.
The multi chargers are a worthwhile investment , just wack all the batteries on in one go, and they are ready for you in the morning .
Bought the Metabo 9 inch cordless with my 20% eBay discount , should be a good un to add to the arsenal when it gets here
