Good Evening. Son in law and myself get on very well with the Clarkes range from Machine Mart. Best if you go on a"Vat free" day but nearest one for us is Peterborough so a bit of a trek. Peter.

Whether or not Snap-On boxes are value for money or not is one question , but in my experience of trying and using many & most of the competition they are undoubtably the best quality by some margin. This comment applies ONLY to genuine , USA made Snap-On boxes.

They may be expensive but they are worth it, I bought my Snap on top box and mid section new about 5 years ago. I recently bought a tatty roll cab to match off ebay for £100. Got it home and found that one of the runners on the drawer had actually worn through and snapped off. Spoke to Snap On and gave me the details of local rep. Got a brand new replacement drawer for it no quibles despite being a 1988 vintage rollcab., just had to quote serial number and return damaged drawer for inspection.

I also have a 1969 top box in vgc that was on the local tip. Absolutely nothing wrong with it except for missing Snap On badge!

I got a Clark HD with the ball bearings on one of their VAT free days some years ago. Very nice sturdy solid box, drawers open smoothly, simmilar to this one

. Makes a HUGE difference having somewhere organised to keep your tools.

If I had the space I would buy the matching box that goes underneath it.

Another vote for the Clarke Pro ball bearing range, unlike a lot of Clarke products, they actually seem pretty good. I've had a roll cab and top box since Christmas and they're working well so far. It's great being able to organise tools a bit better.
