Tool box cover suppliers?

I am interested in having a cover like this made:



That one won't fit my 40 inch Snap On Roll cab.

I have asked an ebay seller of welder covers if they may be interested in making a cover to my dimensions.

Do members know of anyone worth asking please?

It's for occasional use if I am welding, grinding or painting in the same garage. Will help protect the cab from debris.

Mrs A made mine for me out of old curtain fabric, anyone handy with a sewing machine should be able to make you one.

He seems like a really helpful guy, but just a bit of advice, keep it simple.
Needed one for a small mill and he came up with a 2 piece design with velcro openings etc that I thought was pretty smart but in practice unnecessary overkill.

That's quite interesting. I see the one for Rtech 181. I don't know if this would make welder more or less likely to rust?

Also look at guitar amp and PA cover makers. Same shape, you can get them made to order.

That guy on ebay says he can make a cover for me so I said go ahead and will give him better dimensions tomorrow

Black fabric, soft lined. I can throw a welding blanket on top of that if I find the very rare scenario of having to weld near it.

More to protect against dust and crap flying around in the workshop, but as to moisture, RH and rust, that depends on a bunch of stuff which a cover could make better or worse

that and a 12" tube heater would be perfect, I have a tube heater under all my inverters over winter.

You’re right, it does give a rather chintzy feel to the workshop though.
