a quick google returns that a corsa has a tow limit of 1000Kg (max and depends on model so check with the vin plate) so i'm guessing that a corsa will sag in the middle if it weights 2500kg so if you exceed the limit of your licence you are exceeding the vehicle so if pulled up the creak without a paddle!

its also worth checking what the unbraked tow limit is as a light car like that will be much less than 750kg

It's something like 50% of the towing vehicle's unladen kerb side weight for unbraked trailers so your car would have to weigh 1500kg unladen to tow the maximum. Kerb weight for a Corsa C 1.2sxi is 979kg.

thats for braked. unbraked will be 50% kerb weight

acording to my owners book refering to the engine codes my kerb weight is 1135kg so as my trailer is unbraked at the moment 50% means my limit is 567.5kg.
Is that right
