Anyone offering odds on how soon before that laptop has an unintentional interface with the floor?

Looks very vunerable to a box move, or a non-thinking step between machine and box.

That's true of most things in a workshop TBH, from the fuel bottle stand to the oscilloscope. However with this set up the laptop for example is sitting on a non-slip mat on a proper shelf rather than teetering on the edge of the ramp, a seat or frame so it's way more secure how it is now.

Plus if you can't spot a bloody great purple toolbox like that and walk into it I'd suggest it's time to retire.

Well that's one of the weirdest back to back test runs. A 2008 Yamaha Raptor 700 quad, followed a short time later by a 1958 Triumph 3TA.

I needed to calibrate the TPS (throttle position sensor) physically on the engine by voltage, and then recalibrate its values in the fuelling map using the Dynojet software to get the Power Commander back in synch.

He will, and when he thanked me for that and I replied "Cinderella shall go to the ball!" there was a distinct twitch under his neck tattoos as he backed slowly away. I guess not everyone has that sort of sense of humour.
