Felt pen is quicker and easier. So as this is the MWF I'm sure you'll be purchasing a new tin of the messy, awkward to use stuff shortly?I lost my tin of "blue"...

I get through a tin a year.My tin of Copaslip must be hetting on for 45 years old. Still three quarters full.
Is it extra for a Lab report?"Right, that all looks OK. So like I said, put a smear of rubber grease on before you offer the backplate up and you're good to go."

Very reasonable rates, half a Jumbone per inspection. Is it extra for a Lab report?
(No idea if that's what make it is, but it's roughly the right colour so the joke stands).

It's grim when you get a day like that.Nightmare of despair , loathing, and resentment.....
Fitted the new back tyre to the Elvingtonian.
Bugger ! Wrong rotation !
Changed it back correctly in double quick time...
Turns out that the new tyre has a greater height, and fouls just about everything...
Now remedied...
Ten million things to do before tomorrow evening, and it's all going to hell in a barrel of cold vomit....

Get hold of some Penaten cream ( or thick Zinc oxide nappy cream ) , pull a blue pen refill apart and use a bit of welding rod to push the ink out on to a teaspoon of the cream , stir it in well and add enough ink to turn it dark blue .I lost my tin of "blue"...

Loads of progress, but it really didn't feel like it at all. It's grim when you get a day like that.![]()
Sometimes you just have to write it off and move on, which is easier said than done.Loads of progress, but it really didn't feel like it at all.
I can't see any chance of any track time whatsoever tomorrow, just a vast waste of time, money, health and happiness.
There's an entire rear brake linkage to make up , a belly pan, and a primary drive cover, plus some form of a silencer that won't allow the engine to breathe anything like enough.
As a mechanism of malicious futility, it'd take some beating.....
Sounds like a day in the life of......................................me!.....and it's all going to hell in a barrel of cold vomit....
Note to self, "I must retire!"Ten million things to do before tomorrow evening, and it's all going to hell in a barrel of cold vomit....
Today, however, I bit through.....Sometimes you just have to write it off and move on, which is easier said than done.
Any photos or video?Today, however, I bit through.....
No track testing or anything like that, but the thing ran very crisply for a minute, and my ears only bled a very tiny amount....
Much has been achieved, even if the timescale for actual track testing was hugely optimistic.....
The right of beer and curry is mine by conquest.......
