I start loads of stuff, finishing is the problem! The other night during high winds there was a muffled crash out in the garden. The cat who was dozing by the French windows leapt up and did a runner. Had a quick scan round the garden with a torch from the back door but nothing obvious. Leave it until the morning I thought.
The derelict greenhouse we inherited with the house had finally given up. It had been leaning for a bit, in fact leaning quite a bit and a good bit of it had keeled over.
That's a lot of clearing on my own. The timber will burn. The glass I guess means a tip run or three. Then there's the organic stuff, bricks, bits of metal etc.
To the left there's a square of railway sleepers that was once a sandpit. Now filled with years old, kid's plastic toys. No doubt sun damaged and brittle. SWMBO insists on keeping them.
Plan is to clear the site. Daughter wants a garden studio.
