One manky Ti collector off a CBR something or other that's been repaired (badly) at least once before

After electrocuting it in acid for a little while and then tickling it with some scotchbrite we have

and can see whoever repaired it before didn't do a very good job of purging it if they even bothered
Time to cut the bracket off so i can get at the holes and cracks to finish cleaning
and weld them

Flip it over and get creative with some cooking foil to repair the broken spring clip tab

Vee'd the bracket and welded that back on
and it's time to look inside
Pics not great, the welds are clean and bright in real life with a little bluing around them which suggests i should've purged it for a bit longer and not turned the purge down as much before striking up
