Well, that and the fact there's another shedload of evidence against the conspiracy theory (See the above links, plus plenty more easily found, a lot of which are backed up by actual peer reviewed papers and not written in crayon) and none actually for it. Given that state of affairs my money is on it being 99.9% certain it IS Titanic, and a slim possibility it might be otherwise, unless you have some other evidence?
Why would I need to provide anything? again its your usual deflection of anything which doesn't agree with your opinion. There's shedloads of evidence from both/all sides of the debate and many of other opinions can be readily and easily debunked as most of it is opinion. Take your own quote "a lot of which are backed up by actual peer reviewed papers" so what is a peer reviewed paper? oh yes another opinion and little more, where facts and opinion are manipulated to a particular view or opinion, nothing more.
If we look at the alleged find by Bob Ballard, it was Ballard himself who openly admits the wreck had been robbed so he, by his own admission claims to be the first to find the wreck and openly admits he couldn't have been because it had already been robbed so he couldn't have been the first there as the those robbing were, and we don't know how many other groups had robbed it, or attempted to rob it.
We have claims (which again cannot be confirmed or denied) that blasting had occurred, and that the ship was carrying a large quantity of gold. This in itself would be sufficient reason for almost any Government or large corporation to fund a project to retrieve the gold she was carrying, and documentation has been produced showing she was carrying gold, yet the original manifest showed it wasn't carrying gold so which ones are correct and which are forgeries.
People can debate and speculate theories, and blasting alone along with the natural deterioration will render most alleged evidence as nothing more than speculation as the evidence most needed to prove or disprove a theory is lost and has been for many years.
I will remain open minded until something of significance is produced.
