I have always put HD springs on any of the tipper conversions, the standard springs have normally gone a bit soft by the time a truck is old enough to be butchered into a tipper.
Slightly bigger on the helpers and one extra leaf seems to be the sweet spot, not too hard a ride but ok for a ton carrying.

By the time they added the forge, shelves and tooling, and the surplus of horse shoes it was fair weighty.
Especially as all the weight was over the very back.
