been a bit busy
Here we have one 1947 Morris 8,
yep its another gasser! you dont see one for ages then two come on here at once
This one belongs to my mate John whos cars i often work on,
In my place for a cage,

Ok, got started tonight on the Morris gasser cage,
it might not look a lot but i was pleased with this evenings outcome,
made a ply template to bend the tube to,
bent up the main hoop in 1.625" x 10gauge cds tube,
its hard to see here but theres actually 8 bends there although 2 are in the centre at the top to suit the roll of the roof and 2 small tweaks down the side to fine tune the fit.
also got both front A post tubes bent up, cut to length at the front and only require notching to fit to the main hoop.
(sorry mods just realised this should be in the cars project section?)

I do apologise for the lack of updates as i've been f*•#in busyCome on then, wheres the pics
First off the A post tubes in and screen bar with 2 small bends to raise the centre of the tube.
Next in the cranked dash bar.
Bored through the firewall for the front tubes and made finishing rings slid on before fitting the tubes.
Double notched into dash bar.
Some basic simgle seat brackets.
Couple of finished shots with seat back cross tube, rear side drop and door bars.
