Really well spoted, I was making confusion with the 3000 that is ac dc. Sorry for my mistake. considering that the murex posted above it's undoubtely a much better option.

Like I say I'm jumping around a bit. If it's new with warrenty so be it. Can't help wanting a bargain though. :-)

Avoid that like the plague, I've had so many problems with these over the years I could never recommend one to anybody.
I've bought one.... Nothing like what I'm wanting but it will allow me to learn TIG on stainless and I think it was a bargain.
