Time delay relays...

I am using a pair of 555 timers in a circuit at the moment, it's a trigger circuit for a re-purposed car ignition coil to use as a electric fence energiser to try and keep the fox out of our chicken run.
The first 555 sets the frequency of the pulses and the second 555 sets the width of the pulse to determine the 'size of the kick' from the ignition coil.
Just waiting for a power mosfet to arrive to complete the circuit.

Why bother, just get one of these.....

hahaha how this topic lost its way. Hilarious mind! I have decided that I will drop a hint to one of the sparks in work tomorrow, hinting that I have an issue and he will take it up. Especially if I tell him I am really struggling with it. His ego wont allow him to leave it alone and he'll be all over it
