He cuts his sheet material on. CNC flat bed cutter. It’s got good extractionAt the moment he might want to look into 18 mm moisture board. It's dense MDF, green in colour and we started using it when we couldn't get ply as it's the same price as decent ply @ £50:00 a sheet. Aside from being much more stable it cuts really well and also takes coatings better as it's not as porous/absorbent. It seems to be about in reasonable amounts at the moment, no idea why that is and other sheets aren't.
I'm sure you and he will know, but it bears mentioning for anyone else reading this that 'M' class extraction/vac is a must when cutting it. Apologies for the granny eggs thing, but it really doesn't get mentioned enough how unpleasant MDF dust is.
