'Thousands' driving without crucial diesel filters - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41761864
I think so.Is it only applicable to 2009 onwards cars?
I think so.
Why in the wide world of sports did he buy a diesel? He'd be better off buying anything petrol. For that pattern of usage I'd opt for a nice Rolls Royce Shadow and spend the money saved filling it with fuel. One of the retired guys I bell ring with has just bought a brand new VW Golf Diesel.
He does less than 3000 miles a year, and its rare that a journey is over 5 miles, I can forsee a multitude of problems.
I don't understand why the government and manufacturers are still pushing diesels. A colleague of mine uses so much poxy adblue in his Vauxhall van he might as well be filling up with shell v power
Exactly that, "You can have this diesel today but if you want the petrol version you'll have to wait 6 weeks".^^ The salesman probably conned him into it. Diesels to shift and a pensioner turns up at the showroom - salesman's Christmas come early.
what i'm really wondering is who the hell is going to buy all the pastel coloured fiat 500's that are trundeling about after 3 yrs
I always love it when people mention the gubbermint footing the bill, they don't have any money, it's us the tax payer that pays for it all.Other option el gov foots the bill and whacks the cost of an MOT up to £120 or more to pay for it...
