On a similar note, what are inconel/monel/fancy high temp nickle alloys like to weld?

easy enough get a kinda greenish glow with inconel sometime hard to see when capping ,duplex is lovely and clean ,stainless a bit more fluid ,get the purge right plenty gas you can vent it off ,you will reduce it as you do you final tie in on root .keep an eye on the interpass temps can be just 150c on duplex forced air cooling is utilised too heres a selection of exotics , ps all purges checked with the pe 100 purge meter . some of the exotics require a argon/nitrogen mix
