Tig welding for 3 weeks

Well I've been tig welding for about 3 weeks now. About 1 hour a day or so. The welder is a inverter fusion 200hf that I bought from weldequip. It's a fantastic unit and very easy to use. Here's something I just finished up today.








Still not where I want to be yet but it's getting better day by day.

You're very welcome... thank's for the order! Nice looking work for such a short learning curve, you TIG'd before or maybe had any gas welding experience?

Nope. The only other welding experience is MIG welding. Oh and thanks again for the MIG welder also!!! LOL!

yeah mig isn't suppose to be pretty I guess. But that manifold is solid as a rock! holds that 8kg turbo no problems!

Wow, only 3 weeks.... that is inspiring - both the welds and the project!

I'll be MIG'ing for a few more years yet b4 I can afford a TIG.
Hmmm, not to worry, I have a lot of (fun) learning with the MIG to do yet.

Makes me wonder just how "neat" MIG welds can get with lots of practice on thinner stuff around 1mm

This is only a hobby at the moment, well I make these on the side to fund my welding addiction. I've had no training or anyone to teach me, just reading on the net and praticing by myself in my shed.

The internet has taught me many things...
