Tig torch

I have a Thermal Arc 220 'arc master' AC/DC Tig Welder which had (had!) an OCIM SA.26 torch. Unfortunately the torch is damaged and I need a new one. Can anyone recommend an alternative good torch and where to get it from? Thanks

Parweld pro grip is a nice torch, type in thermal arc arcmaster TIG torch and eBay and you'll find one in parweld's pro grip.

I assume the torch you have isn't repairable, most parts can be swapped out can't they?

I should go with whatever common one you can get locally like parweld or the likes
Only for one reason hassle of getting the right bit fast n easy if you have issues in the future

Hi, many thanks for the replies....Unfortunately the gun was mangled in a freak accident and isn't repairable, hence looking for a replacement. My knowledge of welding equipment is virtually zero and I have to rely on experienced people like you guys for help. Having read some of the articles on here, some are suggesting that using CK? pyrex nozzle may help me even more. Is this true and could it be retro fitted to the above guns? Thanks

The ck Pyrex cup is just a gas lens not a torch. Ck make torches that are very good but pricey.
You get what you pay for with torches. You can buy them for £30 and £300. Par weld, binzel, star parts are middle of the road torches/prices. Weld craft, ck, weld tech are top of the range eye watering prices.

Yeah, I've wanted a CK agency for years but never got it. The other agency I'd love access to is Miller for bits and bobs but that's always been refused as it's covered well enough in the area already.
