No, that's a Parweld pro-grip 20 in green instead of purple.
No it's older and the adjuster is a disc directly underneath the button that lefties or right handers could use. They are old so probably won't be able to find an image.

If you haven't got a pic of an RDA style remote can you at least describe it to give us something to go on. If nothing else i'm curious to know what's so different about them. Something like Jim described for the older Migatronic style for example where the pot thumbwheel was directly under the momentary button?

Well it would be easier to help if we actually knew exactly what you wanted. We've thrown up loads of suggestions, pictures, brands etc yet there not what you want so unless you go further into what it is, what it does and what it looks like we are flogging a dead horse.

WTC was a company that supplied copy equipment before Parweld.WTC stands for"Welding Torch Company" they were based in Hindly, Wigan.We have tried to obtain the remote from Starparts with no luck,even though they show it in thaire sales brochure,and the remote is south to north

If you can't get the exact one you want your welders will just have to settle for whatever the next best thing you can get is.

I can't find zip on the net about them so I give up. But there are many many north/south controlled torches. The latch you described sounds a bit like a fronius up down design

You have hit it right in the head.The second picture shows my problem perfectly (fig 7)that`s what we need!!!

This is a diagram from the manual of my fronius magicwave of the sequences that can be done from the up/down torch switch. It's a latch style switch exactly like the pic I posted. Very expensive torches and non standard consumables I believe. Whether you could make a fronius torch work like that with your machine is a big Q for Jim he will know. There is 9 pins on a fronius plug and I'm unsure of how many are actually used. I have a good idea now of what you mean.

That kind of trigger controlled functionality is a mode in the set itself.
Since I have no knowledge of what set our forum friend is using I couldn't comment.

That's a v good point. Unless you let people know the machine the likes of Jim can't say whether a particular torch is compatible.

I have looked in several tig sites and cannot find a picture of the type of remote i require,so it looks like i will have to have a re-think.The type of machine i require the remote for is a Thermalarc 200gts,as i posted in an earlier thread

You can download owners manuals from http://victortechnologies.com/therm...ch=Search&dispBrand=Thermal+Arc&categoryID=50 if you haven't got one. Haven't read one properly but it includes pin outs for the remote plug and different ways of configuring it. Googling the foot pedal part number in the manual suggests you need a 5K ohm pot (like most, all?, Thermal Arc kit) in the remote if you can't find anything sold specifically for a 200gts due it's age
