No. Your not going to be heating up the bench noods with a 160amp dc Tig. A 400amp acdc doing hefty Alu work maybe!! If you want something to take heat away from your job a thick flat lump of metal to sit it on and act as a heat sink will suffice. I have a 25mm thick lump of cast that I do my small Alu jobs on. Only slight issue being that it weighs well over a quarter of a ton. It's bigger than it looks...
Hoping to make it height and tilt adjustable but it might just end up going in on four legs!
