well the dryer is not hard wired to the out put from the box. in the last two pic's there is a black box were the dry gets plugged to (they wrote 220 on the wall to). so from the box the hard wire is the orange wire which goes to the black box which it a three prong outlet that the dryer uses. then the input for the welder is 230 volts, 21 amps, single phase, 60 Hz. my circuit breaker for the dryer is rated @ 30A. so i think i should be good up to that point. then i would need a heavy duty extension cord as you said. dose that sound right to you?




i didn't catch that. Yes I do plan on going gas less
trying to keep cost down. this was an unexpected project. Maby later on in the future ill get the rest of the stuff for the gas. Tomorrow ill return the mig wire from hf. I'd rather do the job with whats recommended. thanks
